I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The shared common area felt more like a decent hotel with fantastic facilities. The kitchen was well-equipped, although it's important to bring your own food as there are no shops in the National Park. The outside onsen was one of the nicest I've experienced in Japan, with stunning views of the surrounding nature. The location itself is simply breathtaking. A 15-minute walk away, the visitor center offers affordable snowshoe and cross country ski rentals for only 500 yen a day. Our bedroom was warm, comfortable, and included a private toilet. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and welcoming, providing a clear explanation of everything upon arrival.
Can't fault the property in any way.

Conveniently located near Mt Asahidake ropeway, cozy hostel with a well-equipped kitchen and friendly staff. The onsen vouchers were a nice touch. Great common area, clean and spacious onsen, super-equipped kitchen, and amazing outdoor onsen. Very clean, super friendly, and free laundry if you stay for 3 nights or longer. Loved the chillout area with hammocks and free table tennis. Offered activities like hiking, fishing, and skiing. Plenty of storage options, free parking, and no pets or smoking on site.

Great amenities and convenient location! The hotel provided free breakfast with toast and coffee/tea, which was a nice start to the day. The onsen facilities were fantastic, especially after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel is located close to the Asahidake ropeway, making it easy to access the beautiful mountains.
Limited food options and lack of staff availability. It would have been helpful to have more detailed descriptions of the food services available, as they are important for budget-conscious travelers.

They have a shared lounge and free parking. Indoor hot spring and a free ski shuttle.
Oh, they took only cash and had nothing around except a cable car.

Loved the warm welcome and great facilities at the hostel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a fun onsen. Kitchen had everything I needed. Pity about the weather ruining my plans, but still had a pleasant stay.
Not all staff as friendly as expected. Sarcasm really adds to the charm of a hostel, doesn't it?

This affordable hostel in the middle of Daisen National Park is perfect for solo travelers. The staff is friendly and provides detailed information about food and access before your stay. The highlight is the public bath with a relaxing outdoor pool, and the onsen is open all night long. The hostel offers a well-equipped kitchen and a small shop for hungry hikers. Free parking is available in front of the hostel.
Felt well taken care of, staff went above and beyond to assist.

The rooms at K's House Hokkaido-Asahidake Onsen Hostel are amazing! The quadruple room I stayed in had a kitchen with all the necessary appliances - fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. It was so convenient to cook and prepare meals right in my own room. Plus, the free WiFi was a big bonus!
One thing I didn't particularly like about the quadruple room was that it had a stovetop. As someone who prefers to eat out and try local cuisine, I didn't really make use of it.

Title: Amazing Family Experience!
My wife says that the only suggestion she has for families with children is to have a kids' play area or game room. It would have been great for our children to have an designated space where they could have fun and interact with other kids.

The staff were super friendly and showed us around when we arrived. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and was so clean. Plus, the onsen was on point - so relaxing. And the kitchen had everything we needed to cook up a feast. We even got free bread and coffee in the morning. And the best part? They had a free ski shuttle, so we hit the slopes in no time. Epic!
If I had to ask for one thing, it would be more party vibes. Don't get me wrong, the hostel was awesome, but it would've been even cooler with some more activities for us young, party-going peeps.

Upon arrival, the staff gave us a warm welcome and even took the time to give us a tour of the hostel. the onsen facilities were amazing, with spacious baths that were perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. We also loved the well, equipped kitchen area and shared lounge, where we could prepare our meals and unwind. the free toast provided for breakfast was a nice touch. the location was ideal for our plans to climb Asahidake, as it was just a 15, minute walk to the ropeway. The bus stop right outside the hostel made it convenient for getting in and out. Cons: Nothings.
